Hello backers, 

We're here with an important update! Production run 2 units made it through port and arrived at our warehouse on Monday after a slight delay. DHL and USPS orders have been packed and are scheduled for pickup today. Check your tracking link to see which courier is assigned to your order. 

UPS orders will be packed and shipped within the next 1-2 days. 

Everyone who pledged on Kickstarter should receive their orders within the next 3-14 business days. 

Next, we'll be shipping orders to Indiegogo backers and working through a small handful of International orders that were unable to ship due to unvalidated shipping addresses.

Production Run 2 shipping labels are created - keep an eye on your inbox

Hello backers

Exciting news - shipping labels have been created for our upcoming shipment. All remaining backers will receive their Flyweight very soon!

Here’s an update on timing:

Our original arrival date for the shipment was August 23. This is now currently expected next week or the first week of September.  

To speed up the shipping once products reach the US, we’ve already sent all shipping labels to the warehouse so they're ready to quickly ship as soon as the units arrive. This is why you may receive/have received an email stating that a label has been created, but it hasn't left yet or cannot yet be tracked by a delivery provider.

Keep an eye on that tracking information, it will be updated once products arrive at the warehouse and are being shipped out.

Production Run 2 is Complete and in Transit to NY!

Hello backers, 

We're excited to let you know that our second production run is complete and all Kickstarter and Indiegogo pre-ordered units are in transit to our NY warehouse.

Timeline: 

• Backerkit surveys were sent out in April and we've posted a few reminders here on Kickstarter since then. We're still waiting for responses from 99 Kickstarter backers and 13 Indiegogo backers. If you didn't receive a survey, send us an email at [email protected] and we'll get you your link. You must complete the survey to receive your Flyweight! Otherwise, we do not have an address on file to ship your unit to. 
• For everyone else who completed their survey and paid any applicable shipping fees, you're all set! Shipping tracking numbers will be sent to you in the next couple of weeks. 
• We'll post another update here when the freight shipment arrives at our NY warehouse. 

Thank you to everyone who received their unit from our first production run and submitted a review! We were amazed to read all the positive comments and we can't wait to hear even more after the final batch of units ships next month.

All first production orders have shipped!

Hello backers, we've been hearing amazing feedback from many you over the past month and a half. At this time, all Fast Shipping rewards have been shipped out to those with completed surveys!

We are still waiting on survey responses from 16 backers with Fast Shipping rewards. If your pledge says estimated delivery in April 2023 and you have not received your Flyweight, you probably missed our survey asking for a confirmed shipping address. Please reach out to us at [email protected] so we can resend you the link. 

If you haven't received your Flyweight yet and your pledge stays estimated delivery in August 2023, then you're part of our second production run which is currently in progress. We are on track to ship all production two units on time in August 2023.

We're getting goods out as fast as possible

Hello backers, 

At this point, all Fast Shipping rewards with completed surveys have printed labels and all goods have been handed off to UPS/USPS. We apologize for the delays as many of you are checking your tracking links for updates. Updated information should show up soon.

Over the past few days since our first scheduled pickup on Wednesday, April 26, we've had issues with courier no-shows. In general, couriers like UPS and USPS will often “attempt” a pickup but not actually do the pickup if they’re running behind or aren’t in the area. They have to call it an "attempt" or they’ll get dinged for a no show.  On top of this, one of our pickup attempts failed because the courier sent a small van when they needed to send a large truck. 

We've been on the phone with both UPS and USPS for hours every day since last week trying to get ahold of a human operator. Today, we finally succeeded in reaching local contacts at both couriers at the supervisory-level who we will be in contact with throughout the day on Tuesday, May 2, to ensure that the pickups finally happen. 

Our NYC warehouse is small with two loading bays and is staffed from open to close. If a courier shows up, there is always someone there to help. We've been grateful for the personalized support the warehouse team has offered to meet our unique needs with this one-time shipment.  They are packing and labeling each order one-by-one so that nothing is missed and everything is counted accordingly and correctly.
